About Us

A real sense of security

Capital Managers is an authorised representative of Infocus Securities Australia Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s leading advisory groups. Through this relationship we have access to advanced financial planning and client management software, and valuable research resources to benefit our clients. Our advisers undertake considerable ongoing professional development and education to keep up-to-date when advising clients on opportunities brought about by legislative change and product innovation

Tailored Solutions

With a solution-focused, rather than product-driven approach to financial planning, Capital Managers’ advisers first seek to:

  • understand your individual goals and aspirations
  • benchmark your personal objectives against market realities and risk sensitivity
  • determine an effective wealth management strategy for you
  • conduct professional research and analysis, and
  • identify the most appropriate products from the wide range available.

The end result is a tailored solution which we will clearly explain and document in a Statement of Advice, so you can make an informed decision on the most appropriate course of action.

We will then execute your preferences and streamline the implementation process on your behalf. Where agreed with you, Capital Managers provides a regular review service to examine and monitor the strategies implemented to help ensure they reflect your changing circumstances and remain relevant well into the future.

84 combined years of experience

Our Heritage

Capital Managers heritage extends back to 1989 with the establishment of Warwick Financial Services. In 2007, Warwick Financial Services acquired another long-established practice Martin Consulting.

Capital Managers was born from the amalgamation of these two businesses.
With the further acquisition of Prophet Financial Advice in Bunbury in 2013, Capital Managers has grown to be one of Western Australia’s largest boutique financial planning practices.

With the founding director’s retirement in 2020, Josh Teh and Amanda Doyle joined existing director Brendan King in taking Capital Managers forward.

“We are extremely proud that many of our clients have been with us in excess of 25 years. These same clients are advocates for our services and actively refer friends, family and colleagues.”

Our advice methodology

Our Values

By following our value proposition we aim to maximise and help to protect the wealth of our clients who are typically owners of their own business, executives and high performance professionals who are time poor, but who appreciate the value of advice.

If we do not believe we can add value to a person’s life and financial affairs then we will not engage with them, but rather refer them to someone who we believe may be better able to help.

By doing this and carefully selecting those with whom we deal, we are better placed to provide appropriate resources and time to helping those where we can add real value.

To be responsible for the actions we take

To achieve and maintain a level of education that enables us to provide professional advice for each of our client’s needs

To strive for excellence in everything we do so as to provide the best possible client experience

To act with total integrity with everyone who we deal with

To respect others as we would want them to respect us
